serving San Benito County since 1910. This
family run business is a great place to visit

Steinbeck
Hollister is the original home of the Steinbeck
family. John Steinbeck's grandfather came
to Hollister in the late 1870's, helping build a
new community.
He and
his wife, Almira, lived near this home on
Monterey Street which was featured in the 1981
movie, East of Eden, based on the
book which his grandson wrote in 1952. |
Swank
Farms
Swank Farms grows a variety of fruits and
vegetables year around which they sell mainly
through Farmers' Markets, restaurants, and their
own produce stand.
They also feature a huge corn maze and pumpkin
patch during Halloween which draws visitors from
all over. |
