Charming Chairs & Quilt Show  : :  April 10 - 24, 2010

Whimsical, fun, outrageous chairs created by local residents and artists all sold to the highest bidder in a 2-week silent auction.  Opening reception at Blak Sage Gallery at 727 San Benito Street on April 10.  This event also includes many beautiful local quilts made by local residents (displayed only at the Gallery) with some for sale.  Chairs will be on display at various downtown businesses and returned to the Gallery for final bidding on the 24th.

Spring Cleanup  : :  Saturday, April 24, 2010

A community supported cleanup of downtown, including pulling weeds, planting, scrubbing and painting. Volunteer for this annual event and help beautify our downtown!  Groups are welcome. Sponsors and volunteers are always needed!

Every Wednesday from 3 - 7 pm.  On Fifth Street, enjoy the very best in fresh produce and flowers, organic meat and poultry, specialty baked goods, local olive oils and honey, sausages, BBQ, and so much more.  On the corner of 4th and San Benito Streets next to the FREE parking garage, you'll find crafts and information booths, bounce house for the kids and often live entertainment.!
