Hollister Downtown Association Committees
The Hollister Downtown Association is made
up of four sub-committees that work
diligently to pursue the goals and mission
of the Association as well as ensure that
the Association runs smoothly.
Members of each committee are concerned,
involved business people just like you!

Organization
Committee
The Organization Committee
meets the second Friday of each month and is
responsible for managing the financial and
logistical aspects of the association.
Their scope of work includes fund,
volunteer, and membership development.

Promotion Committee
Meeting
on the first Wednesday of each month, the
Promotion Committee creates a positive image
of our Historic Downtown to attract
customers and rekindle community pride.
The committee works diligently to create
interesting events in our downtown to
continue to attract visitors. This
committee also has several sub-committees
that are responsible for organizing the
various downtown events such as the Street
Festival, Lights On,
etc.

Design Committee
Meeting
on the second Thursday of each month, the
Design Committee enhances the visual
qualities of our Historic Downtown by
directing their efforts towards physical
elements such as landscaping, storefronts,
painting, displays, planters, etc.
These volunteers create color schemes for
buildings, landscape plans for parking lots,
and building maintenance guides. They
also work with historical preservation
issues and help educate property owners.

Economic Restructuring Committee
Meeting
on the second Friday of each month, the
Economic Restructuring Committee strengthens
the business district's economic assets by
conducting surveys and gathering data to
recruit new and existing businesses to our
downtown. The committee is involved with
recruiting new businesses and converting
unused spaces into housing, offices,
entertainment, and cultural facilities. This
committee works to sharpen the
competitiveness of local businesses by
creating seminars and hosting speakers and
workshops.
